Neil Benson: [00:00:00]

Are you an entrepreneur building a Microsoft partner business or a Microsoft practice leader within a larger organization? I am, and I need help.

G'day, I'm Neil Benson, the chief executive and one of six cofounders of Superware, a Microsoft systems integrator and independent software vendor building business apps here in Brisbane, Australia.

Welcome to Practice Leading, the podcast for emerging and curious practice leaders of Microsoft partner businesses. If you're anything like me, with an unquenchable thirst for improvement and zero tolerance for BS, you've come to the right place.

This is my personal invitation for you to join me on my own journey of discovery. Together we'll learn from innovators and investors, executives and entrepreneurs, business leaders and business coaches that have already left their stamp on the Microsoft community, and those that are exploring new and smarter ways of building their businesses. Whether it's groundbreaking innovations, hiring high performing teams, or the sheer force of will to disrupt our industry, each episode will be a masterclass from the trailblazers who have already achieved significant success.

I started my first Microsoft partner business, Increase CRM, back in 2006, which I sold in 2009. After that, I led the Microsoft practices at Slalom in Southern California and KPMG Australia, and I've been a Microsoft MVP since 2010. Even though I've been playing in the Microsoft community for nearly 20 years, scaling Superware is my most difficult challenge yet.

On a flight from Seattle down to Los Angeles, making my way home from MVP Summit, I sat beside Steve Knutson. He's the founder and director of Stratos Technology Partners in Christchurch, New Zealand. Steve generously and graciously shared all his experience answering all my questions about how to grow my business.

I thought, how can I spend more [00:02:00] time and learn from people like Steve, who are a few years ahead of me? This show is my mission to do that and to share their lessons with you.

Join our mailing list at practiceleading.com and I'll send you a cheat sheet summarizing the key takeaways from each episode. Subscribers will also receive invitations to live events with some of our guests so that you can dive deeper into their expertise and get your questions answered as well.
